Job Overview
The Vegetable Packaging Helper assists with the efficient and safe packaging of vegetables for distribution.
The role works with the packaging and production team to meet company hygiene, safety, quality, and production standards.
The position reports to the Packaging Supervisor and belongs to the Packaging / Production department.
Responsibilities
- Sort and package vegetables by size, type, and quality.
- Prepare boxes, bags, labels, and other packaging materials.
- Seal and label packages correctly.
- Inspect vegetables for defects or damage and remove unsuitable items.
- Operate packaging machines under supervision when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized packaging area.
- Follow health, safety, and accident-prevention procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Track packaging materials and products to support inventory control.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- The employer seeks a reliable and hardworking worker.
- High school or equivalent education is preferred.
- The worker must follow hygiene, health, safety, and quality procedures.
- The worker must collaborate with the packaging and production team.
Schedule and Employment
- The job is full-time.
- The stated shift is day shift with a break shift arrangement.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 1,800 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person at the packaging location.
