Packaging Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Oversee capital projects (CAPEX) through all phases including planning, design, budgeting, execution, and completion. ✅ Manage equipment upgrades, facility enhancements, and infrastructure initiatives. ✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance, R&D, and external vendors. ✅ Support new product introductions, plant expansions, and process optimization. ✅ Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. ✅ Prepare technical specifications, project documentation, and engineering proposals. ✅ Lead continuous improvement efforts and provide technical support to plant operations.

Required Qualifications:

• ✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. ✔ 3 to 5+ years of Project Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. ✔ Proven experience in managing capital projects and plant engineering initiatives. ✔ Familiarity with packaging, processing, utilities, and automation systems. ✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite. ✔ Strong knowledge of project management principles and financial control processes.
