Job Description

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts for large-scale data migration projects.
• Analyze source and target data models, perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop ETL and migration workflows to extract, cleanse, transform, and load data while ensuring data integrity and quality, preferably in Snaplogic.
• Create automated validation, reconciliation, and audit reports to verify migration accuracy.
• Optimize SQL/PLSQL performance for high-volume data processing and migration activities.
• Support migration testing, mock runs, production cutovers, and post-migration validation.
• Collaborate with business, application, and technical teams to resolve data issues and ensure successful migration delivery.
• Develop advanced PL/SQL packages utilizing Collections, Bulk Collect, FORALL, Dynamic SQL, and Ref Cursors for high-performance data processing.
• Design reusable PL/SQL frameworks for configurable data validation, transformation, error handling, and audit logging.
• Implement parallel processing, restartable batch jobs, and exception management mechanisms to support large-scale migration workloads.
• Develop metadata-driven migration utilities and generic PL/SQL components to minimize code duplication and improve maintainability.
• Perform code reviews, establish PL/SQL development standards, and mentor junior developers on best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Design and implement end-to-end data reconciliation frameworks to compare source and target systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency of migrated data.
• Develop automated reconciliation scripts for record counts, financial totals, referential integrity checks, and attribute-level data validation between source and target environments.
• Investigate and resolve data mismatches, transformation issues, and reconciliation exceptions identified during migration cycles and production cutovers.
• Produce reconciliation dashboards and audit reports with detailed variance analysis to support business sign-off and migration readiness assessments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in advanced PL/SQL concepts including Packages, Collections, Bulk Processing, Dynamic SQL, Ref Cursors, and Performance Tuning.
• Proven experience in data migration projects involving source-to-target mapping, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation techniques including record-level, aggregate-level, and business-rule-based validation.
• Experience with Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader, Oracle Scheduler, and database performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile project environments is preferred.
• Strong experience in Snaplogic pipeline development.
