Senior Data Migration Lead / Manager

will be responsible for

end‑to‑end ownership

of the data migration workstream across a complex enterprise transformation program.

This role will lead strategy, governance, execution, and stakeholder engagement for data migration from multiple legacy systems into the target enterprise platform, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

The role requires

strong leadership, deep hands‑on data migration expertise, and Arabic language capability

to engage effectively with government business stakeholders.

1. Data Migration Strategy & Planning

  • Define and own the overall data migration strategy, roadmap, and execution plan aligned to program milestones.
  • Lead data discovery, profiling, and legacy system assessment across multiple source systems.
  • Define migration waves, cutover strategy, reconciliation approach, and rollback plans.

2. Data Governance & Quality Management

  • Establish Data Governance framework including data ownership, stewardship, quality rules, and approval workflows.
  • Drive data quality remediation, cleansing, and enrichment in collaboration with business data owners.
  • Define and track data quality KPIs, completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to government data policies, security, confidentiality, and data residency requirements.

3. Delivery Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage
  • onsite and offshore data migration teams
  • (ETL developers, analysts, testers).
  • Own data mapping, transformation rules, validation, reconciliation, and sign‑off.
  • Oversee execution of mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and production cutovers.
  • Manage dependencies across functional, technical, integration, and testing teams.

4. Business & Stakeholder Engagement (Arabic Required)

  • Conduct data validation workshops, sign‑off sessions, and governance forums in Arabic and English.
  • Present data migration status, risks, and decisions at programme, steering committee, and executive forums.

Core Experience

  • **15+ years**
  • of overall IT experience with
  • 10+ years in Data Migration / Data Management leadership roles
  • .
  • Proven experience leading
  • large‑scale ERP data migration programs
  • (Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, or equivalent).
  • Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Data profiling & cleansing
  • Data mapping & transformation
  • ETL tools (Informatica / ODI / Talend or similar)
  • Data reconciliation & validation
  • Experience managing
  • multi‑vendor, multi‑team delivery models
  • .

Public Sector & Regional Experience

  • Prior experience working with

Public Sector / Government entities

  • (preferably in UAE / GCC).
  • Strong understanding of
  • government data governance, security, and compliance expectations

Language Requirement (Mandatory)
