Role overview
Optimize accounts, generate revenue, and enhance relationships with travel partners at a destination management company.
The employer seeks a candidate with 1–2 years of experience and analytical ability to monitor performance and drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the performance of existing XML clients and develop API optimization and sales-improvement strategies.
- Maintain and develop travel-partner relationships; collaborate with IT platforms on API integrations.
- Coordinate with customer support on escalated issues and manage the agreement process during partner onboarding.
- Meet online with partners to review sales performance and plan future developments.
- Monitor feed performance and provide insights using analytical tools.
Qualifications and experience
- 1–2 years of experience in account management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience monitoring and improving sales performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior travel-industry experience is a plus; an IT background is preferred.
- XML/API integration, API account management, DMC/travel agency, travel-agency sales, and IT experience are listed as preferred.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role with work location specified as in person.
