Minimum Qualifications

  • For an R&C OPT Therapist position, I would recommend listing qualifications such as:
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral-health field.
  • Current North Carolina clinical license or appropriate associate/provisional credential consistent with the position and services provided.
  • Examples may include LCMHC/LCMHC-A, LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA, LCAS/LCAS-A, or another applicable credential.
  • Experience providing outpatient behavioral-health services preferred.
  • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, treatment-planning, communication, and time-management skills.
  • The role/position is accountable for:
  • Quality of clinical care
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Treatment-plan completion and follow-through
  • Client engagement and retention
  • Compliance with NC, payer, and R&C requirements
  • Coordination with the interdisciplinary team
  • Meeting established productivity/service expectations
  • Maintaining active credentials and professional development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing outpatient behavioral-health services preferred.
