Ophthalmologist – DHA Licensed
About This Role
We are seeking a qualified Ophthalmologist (DHA Licensed or Eligible) to join a reputable medical facility in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the eye, as well as performing relevant ophthalmic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, refractive errors, and retinal diseases
- Perform ophthalmic examinations and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, fundus imaging, visual fields)
- Provide medical and surgical treatment where required
- Perform minor ophthalmic procedures and assist in surgeries when necessary
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and treatment plans
- Manage pre- and post-operative patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with DHA regulations
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
Requirements
- DHA License or Eligibility as Ophthalmologist
- MBBS + specialization (MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology or equivalent)
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Experience with modern ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
