Operations Systems Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead or support strategic projects, work streams, and activities; establish performance measures and implement metric-based improvements.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios; document and report results, troubleshoot production issues, and manage test schedules.
• Review technical specifications and business scenarios, analyze system dependencies, and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support staff with procedures, training, and reporting; resolve escalated systems issues and direct staff or vendors as needed.
• For customer-facing systems, troubleshoot issues and guide clients through resolution or escalation.
• When applicable, collaborate with sales delivery or implementation teams to gather and implement client technical and processing requirements.
• Manage special projects related to department objectives and systems initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or another applicable specialty, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of software systems testing and implementation in banking, or an equivalent combination of leadership, project management, and testing experience.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Certified Test Manager (CTM) preferred.

Compensation

• Salary range is USD 64,700–107,900 per year.
