Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to the G-3/5 Plans and G-3/5/7.
• Research and analyze issues, assess risks, and develop solutions.
• Develop mathematical models and algorithms to optimize processes and systems.
• Gather requirements and understand business objectives with stakeholders.
• Interpret data and present findings to decision-makers in presentations, dashboards, and other formats.
• Recommend improvements to efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.
• Stay current with operations research and systems analysis developments.
• Contribute analytical insights to organizational strategy development and implementation.

Qualifications and additional requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in operations research, systems analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, collaboration, teamwork, and attention to accuracy.
• Must have a Secret clearance.
• Operations Research or Systems Analysis certification is a plus.
• Additional listed knowledge or experience includes Vantage, data visualization, Python, optimization, databases, and query languages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Compensation

• Salary range is $90,000–$105,000 per year.
