Role overview

What you will do

• Lead store operations and ensure all operations-focused processes meet company standards.
• Manage inventory, including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counting, and process compliance.
• Manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals.
• Oversee in-house and third-party cleaning crews through feedback, coaching, and escalation.
• Manage supplies, testers, and samples within budget and quantity requirements.
• Participate in performance management for the operations team and provide timely improvement feedback.
• Act as Manager on Duty and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
• Develop budget strategies based on sales performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses.
• Support the development and career progression of Operations Leads and Consultants.

What we are looking for

• At least 2–4 years of management experience in an operations-based role or equivalent internal experience.
• Metrics-driven approach and proven ability to motivate and coach a team.
• Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage in difficult conversations.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and develop in-store talent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to influence business partners at all levels.
• Experience with Windows, Word, and Excel.

Location and physical requirements

• The role is on-site at the specified Sephora store location.
• The store environment is fragrance-filled.
• The role requires bending and stretching to stock shelves and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Availability

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Compensation

• The compensation range is CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities and a benefits program may also be available.
