Operations Manager

Role Overview

Campus Operations

• Lead health and safety, facilities management and campus planning across the school.
• Manage capital projects, including capex budgets, governance structures, risk mitigation, renovations and building modifications.
• Oversee security, cleaning, maintenance, school buses, onsite catering and other day-to-day operational services.

Procurement and Contracts

• Oversee large-scale procurement projects and liaise with landlords, contractors and design teams.
• Manage third-party contracts and lead budgeting, procurement and event logistics across non-academic functions.
• Advise the Principal on resource requirements and achieve cost savings through vendor and supplier negotiation.

People and Compliance

• Line manage the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus support assistants and medical team.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies, Nord Anglia Education standards, and legal and compliance requirements.
• Work with the Extended Leadership Team on space planning, room moves and building maintenance.

Candidate Requirements

• A university degree and previous experience in this role or a similar operations management role are required.
• Strong leadership, communication, integrity, organization, time management and attention to detail are required.
• The candidate must be able to work under pressure, remain calm, adapt proactively and help others meet deadlines.
• Qatar or regional Middle East experience is desirable.
