Operations Manager - E-Commerce

Role summary
Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations for a hypermarket, including picking, marshalling, and dispatch.
Coordinate store and head-office actions to support customer satisfaction, timely delivery, freshness, quality, and order fulfillment.
Help keep operational P&L aligned with budget and improve team efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage e-commerce fulfillment centers and coordinate with the last-mile team.
- Ensure orders are delivered on time and handed over to last mile on schedule.
- Monitor dark-store arrangements and stock adequacy.
- Coordinate with operations, commercial, IT, e-merchandise, head-office, and services teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve logistics, operations, and system-process hurdles.
- Audit delivery-quantity accuracy using loss-prevention controls.
- Implement performance management; monitor attendance, disciplinary actions, and performance measures.
- Monitor allocated budgets, take corrective measures, and contribute to annual budget development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain.
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment and last mile.
- Retail experience is a plus.
