Lead the operational backbone of Arabian Wanderers as it expands across multiple countries.
Senior leadership role combining strategic work with hands-on field presence for trips across the UAE and beyond.
UAE field operations
- Hire, train, and allocate freelance guides, astronomers, and yoga instructors across B2C, school, and corporate trips.
- Lead large-scale events on the ground, including school trips, corporate events, and high-volume weekends.
- Support the Operations Supervisor with logistics for transport, 4x4s, helpers, tents, equipment, and food for UAE camping trips.
Regional coordination and sales support
- Coordinate with in-country operations managers in Oman, Jordan, and Socotra across trips.
- Maintain consistent quality, safety, and guest experience across destinations.
- Support sales with product training, itineraries, cost analysis, and presentations to corporate clients and schools.
Quality, safety, and guest experience
- Establish and enforce quality, health, and safety procedures across operations.
- Gather guest feedback and implement improvements.
- Ensure waivers are signed across trips in every destination.
Process and cost efficiency
- Develop and implement SOPs to streamline and automate operations.
- Maintain and manage contracts with third-party suppliers.
- Keep operational costs lean and efficient.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior operations or leadership role and ability to manage and develop teams across multiple functions.
- Travel, tourism, adventure, or events experience is preferred; exposure to multi-country or regional operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; comfortable in field and outdoor environments; passion for and experience in the outdoors.
- Confident communicator with corporate clients, schools, and diverse teams; valid driving license.
- Based in the UAE or willing to relocate; passport must allow travel to Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.
