The full-time, on-site Operations Manager role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees event operations from planning and logistics through on-the-day coordination and post-event evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Manage schedules and timelines, coordinate culinary and service teams, and supervise equipment setup and breakdown at event locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and coordinate with clients on requirements, budgets, and plan changes.
- Optimise resources, manage vendor relationships, and lead and mentor operational staff.
- Monitor performance and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bring event operations experience overseeing logistics, timelines, and on-site execution for events of varying scale.
- Demonstrate team leadership, client communication, budgeting, resource management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Know health, safety, and quality standards relevant to event operations and food service environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
- Be proficient with scheduling, project management, and documentation tools, and have strong organisational and time-management skills.
Preferred experience and languages
- Experience in events, hospitality, or culinary-focused environments in Dubai or the UAE is highly beneficial.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic are an advantage.
