Job Purpose
To manage and oversee all catering operations including staff management, client coordination, event execution, food quality, and financial performance, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise catering staff including chefs, servers, and event coordinators.
- Plan staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower for all events.
- Communicate with clients to understand event requirements and ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate menu planning, food preparation, and special requests.
- Oversee daily catering operations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Manage event setup, logistics, service delivery, and breakdown.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and procurement of supplies.
- Ensure events are executed on time and meet client expectations.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and tracking expenses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and event clients.
- Conduct quality checks before and during events.
- Maintain records of events, contracts, invoices, and reports.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or event management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and catering operations.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.
