Role overview

Operational oversight

• Oversee operational functions in ADGM, including intragroup and third-party service providers, ensuring regulatory and contractual alignment.
• Implement operational policies, procedures, service-level frameworks, and risk processes.
• Maintain supervision frameworks for trading, staking, and custody operations.
• Develop resilience frameworks covering risk identification, contingency planning, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Coordinate operational incident responses and communications with stakeholders, regulators, and providers.
• Build relationships with banks, regulators, and internal stakeholders to communicate operational and risk strategies.
• Manage operations and risk initiatives across Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, and Customer Service.
• Support launch assessments, approvals, staffing, and audit activities as part of first-line-of-defense operations.

Required skills and experience

• Have 8+ years of experience in Middle East financial services, management or strategy consulting, or operations strategy.
• Have regulated investment-dealer experience focused on trade supervision across crypto, equities, or derivatives.
• Demonstrate process development and workflow improvement to increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across business functions and engage senior management; produce external-facing materials with minimal review.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Be familiar with crypto/Web3, digital asset markets, and tokenization.
• Use AI responsibly, retaining human oversight and delivering measurable workflow improvements.

Compensation

• Target annual base salary is AED 610,000, excluding equity and bonus; total compensation may also include benefits.
