Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Executive Officer in managing ADGM operations and service providers in line with local regulations and contractual obligations.
• Implement operational policies, procedures, SLA frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Maintain supervision frameworks for trading, staking, and custody operations.
• Develop operational resilience, risk identification, contingency planning, and vulnerability mitigation frameworks.
• Coordinate operational incidents and communications with stakeholders, regulators, and third-party providers.
• Build relationships with banks, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Project manage operations and risk initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, and Customer Service.
• Support first-line-of-defense launch assessments, approvals, staffing, and audit activities.

Required skills and experience

• 8+ years in Middle East financial services, management or strategy consulting, or operations strategy.
• Experience in a regulated investment-dealer environment with trade supervision across crypto, equities, or derivatives.
• Ability to develop processes and improve workflows for operational efficiency.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and senior-management engagement.
• Ability to produce high-quality external-facing materials with minimal review.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with crypto/Web3, digital asset markets, and tokenization.
• Responsible AI use with human oversight and measurable workflow improvements.

Workplace

• Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only; the company expects quarterly in-person working sessions.
