Role overview

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets for trends, patterns, and actionable insights; create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Use data to support customer and product segment strategies; translate business questions into analyses and recommendations.
• Maintain data quality through controls, source validation, and resolution of inconsistencies.
• Define data requirements with stakeholders and provide analytical support; identify innovation and process-improvement opportunities.
• Stay current with data-analysis and data-management practices; comply with company procedures and assigned safety and compliance training.
• Mentor junior analysts, support data initiatives, use business systems and Microsoft Office for records and performance analysis, and perform assigned duties.

Experience and education

• At least four years of data-analysis or related experience with a proven record of analytical insights.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related technology field, or relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of products sold at a Profit Center is preferred.

Ideal candidate qualifications

• Solid knowledge of statistical concepts and data-analysis methodologies.
• Experience with Eclipse and data-visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, mentor junior analysts, and influence data initiatives.
• Ability to learn and operate business computer systems; effective use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
