HRI UAE is hiring an Operations and Procurement Coordinator for a custom carpentry and fit-out factory in Sharjah.
The role coordinates quotations, purchasing, materials, inventory, deliveries, and daily operations across the office, factory, suppliers, drivers, and project sites.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and cost estimates based on project requirements.
- Prepare material quantity requirements for wardrobes, cabinets, TV units, wall cladding, and other custom joinery work.
- Handle purchasing and coordinate with suppliers for MDF, plywood, hardware, accessories, aluminum, glass, and other materials.
- Request and compare supplier quotations and follow up on purchase orders.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records of available materials.
- Ensure required materials are available before production starts.
- Coordinate material deliveries from suppliers to the factory and project sites.
- Arrange and follow up with external delivery companies when needed.
- Coordinate daily schedules for company drivers transporting workers and materials to sites.
- Coordinate with the production team on material requirements and project priorities.
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, quotations, inventory, or operations coordination.
- Experience in carpentry, joinery, fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or interior contracting is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of joinery materials and hardware is an advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
- Experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Creator, ERP, or inventory systems is an advantage.
Pay
- The posting lists pay of AED 4,500 to AED 8,500 per month.
Work location
- Work location is Sharjah; the posting states work is in person.
