What you will do

• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with timely, actionable data and explore emerging trends where applicable.
• Provide financial and data analysis for Commercial priorities, with a focus on analytics and data mining.
• Lead data acquisition and market analysis with internal and external teams to develop business insights.
• Support Commercial Region and Segment Leadership with timely metrics while limiting duplicated work.
• Improve data structures and automated reporting to align with Commercial Lines pricing strategies and KPI segmentation.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program.
• Microsoft Office suite is required; Excel expertise should include VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Working knowledge of VBA and BI tools such as Cognos and Tableau.
• Ability to use data to inform decisions for management and internal stakeholders.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical focus and statistical background are considered assets.

Compensation

• Hourly compensation starts at $22.50 and may increase based on factors including skills, education, experience, and educational institution rates.

Co-op experience

• Co-op students may gain practical experience and learning opportunities; the employer describes co-op placements as a talent pipeline for permanent roles.
