Operational Support Technology Analyst (Junior)

Role overview

Pay

• Pay is up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours

• Full-time role with 40 hours per week.

Location and work pattern

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line support across the UK network for operational technology, workplace devices, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and mobile-device problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain equipment at multiple sites.
• Investigate issues and coordinate with suppliers to restore service and reduce downtime.
• Work with operational teams and the Global helpdesk.
• Support technology rollouts, upgrades, and improvement projects.

Required experience and skills

• Experience in IT support or technical support to field engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, and end-user devices; understanding of networking and connectivity fundamentals.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
• Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Must pass criminal record, personal credit, and ID checks and provide verifiable five-year employment, unemployment, or education history.

Advantageous experience

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, mobile device management, or CCTV, alarm, and security technology support is an added advantage.
