Odoo ERP Project Manager

About This Role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Odoo ERP Project Manager with a strong background in accounting and finance to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between finance, operations, and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of ERP projects aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP projects (planning, execution, delivery, and support).
• Gather and analyze business requirements, especially in accounting, finance, and reporting.
• Configure Odoo modules with a focus on Accounting, Invoicing, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, HR) and external consultants/developers.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget execution.
• Provide functional guidance and support for Odoo accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, VAT, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and VAT requirements.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct user training sessions and support system adoption across departments.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3**+ years of experience** in ERP implementation (preferably Odoo)
• Strong accounting knowledge (Financial Statements, GL, AP/AR, VAT, Costing)
• Proven experience managing ERP or digital transformation projects
• Experience in Odoo Accounting module is mandatory
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the GCC (Qatar experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of Odoo Studio / customization processes
• Familiarity with integration (API) and data migration
• Background in auditing or financial reporting
