Location
- The Full-Time Nursing Faculty Member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction , developing and assessing curriculum, advising and mentoring students, maintaining accurate academic records , and supporting student success. Faculty participate in departmental meetings , curriculum planning, accreditation activities, and institutional service. Responsibilities also include maintaining professional expertise, complying with college policies, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment. Evening s and weekends may be required based on institutional needs.
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing is required.
- Current and unencumbered nursing license for the state of Florida.
- The physical ability to teach in the classroom and clinical setting.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with instructional technology and learning management systems.
