Qualifications
- Begins during their final six months' prior to graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- A letter of recommendation from nursing faculty is required with application.
- Interview and have a PRN position commitment from the Extern Program and unit leader with a minimum commitment of 24-hours per month.
- Complete hospital orientation an all onboarding requirements.
- All competencies must be validated.
- Remain in good standing with employment requirements to be eligible for transfer into the Nurse Residency Program upon graduation.
