Overview
- This role focuses on maintaining a secure and high-performing network infrastructure for CLIENT's head office and branch locations.
- Network Operations: Manages routers, switches, firewalls, WLCs, and access points; configures routing/switching protocols and site-to-site VPNs.
- Security Administration: Maintains firewall configurations, defines content filtering policies, and manages Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Azure Networking: Configures Azure virtual networks, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Gateways, and Azure Bastion.
- Incident Response: Leads the response to network security incidents and breaches, performing regular vulnerability scans and security assessments.
- Access Control: Implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions and managing external/internal security setups.
- Mandatory Technical Certifications: Cisco CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- Years of Experience: Subject Matter Expert level.
- Mandatory Technical Certifications: Cisco CCIE .
- Core Technical Expertise Areas: NGFW, WAF, Azure Virtual Networks, and site-to-site VPN connectivity.
- Responsibilities:
- Networking Administration and Support
- Security Administration and Support
- Voice and Collaboration Managed Services
- Develop, document and maintain Procedures that meet the client requirements and policies.
- Maintain a continuous improvement program that improves Administration and Support service delivery.
- Isolate, diagnose and resolve Routing related incidents
- Maintain records of configurations
- Support firmware upgrade when required and recommended by the vendor
• Device License Tracking
- Co-ordination with support organizations for troubleshooting and Support
- Communicate with Internet ISP and apply required connectivity requirement.
- Perform network security reports.
- Ensure that all the in-scope network and network security
- devices are protected against intentional or accidental abuse, unauthorized access, and loss of communication.
- Maintain the Firewall configurations
- Define content filtering policy, restrict Web access to
- inappropriate URL categories, as per MSDF's enforced internet users' policies.
- Validate and ensure the integrity of the configured
- policies, whitelists, backlists, and other custom parameters.
- Raise and execute change requests
- Apply software and IOS required updates and patches after getting the customer's approval for network and security devices
- Implement and maintain external and internal security setups
- Full Azure Virtual Network Management Azure Connectivity, Network Watcher, DDoS protection
