Network Security Engineer | 6-Month Contract | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role and contract

Experience and technical requirements

• Minimum 3 years of network security experience.
• Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or equivalent.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Rapid7, LogRhythm, QRadar, or equivalent.
• Experience in IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, NAC, and EDR.
• Vulnerability management experience using tools such as Rapid7 or Nessus.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud security.
• Strong incident response and network traffic analysis experience.
• Knowledge of DNS, email, and web security; experience with security monitoring or SOC environments.
• Security+ / CEH / PCNSE / Fortinet or equivalent certification.
• Aviation industry experience is an advantage.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• The role is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on network security work involving firewalls and security platforms.
• Support security monitoring and SOC operations.
• Manage vulnerabilities using security tools.
• Respond to security incidents and analyze network traffic.
