Application Support Engineer | 6-Month Contract | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise and aviation applications, including aviation MRO, maintenance, and engineering systems.
• Configure, test, and maintain applications, integrations, and interfaces; support first- and second-line issue resolution.
• Support ERP/MRO implementation, integrations, and enhancements, and work with business teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and database-related solutions; support .NET / ASP.NET / C# applications.
• Assist with testing, deployment, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
• Assist with AI/ML/GenAI initiatives and automation for application support and business processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and incident records and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant application support experience and mandatory aviation/MRO experience.
• Hands-on aviation MRO platform experience with AMOS, Ramco Aviation, TRAX, Ultramain, IFS Aviation, Veryon, Rusada, or an equivalent platform.
• Experience supporting aviation engineering, aircraft maintenance, or flight operations applications.
• Strong SQL Server experience and experience with .NET / ASP.NET / C#.
• Experience with ERP/MRO integration, application testing, configuration, and implementation.
• Completed AI/ML/GenAI certification as specified in the requirement; exposure to AI/ML/GenAI and automation is also requested.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
