Title: Network Engineer (Riverbed)
Duration: 1 year Contract with possible extension
Location: Dubai
Job Description:
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Performance Monitoring or monitoring-focused roles
- Strong hands-on experience with SNMP-based monitoring tools , such as:
◦ SolarWinds
◦ Riverbed NetIM (or equivalent NMS tools)
- Background in Linux and Windows server administration (to support monitoring platforms; not a primary admin role)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux shell scripting and Python scripting
- Hands-on experience with BMC ITSM , including:
◦ Incident management
◦ Change request creation and coordination
- Strong understanding of networking and application protocols , including:
◦ TCP / UDP
◦ SSL / TLS
◦ HTTP / HTTPS
◦ DNS
