Role Overview

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing engineering teams build next-generation applications and Electronic Lab Notebook platforms for scientists, engineers, and technicians.

The role reports to an Engineering Manager.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 7-10 years of end-to-end web application development using Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API development knowledge.
  • Strong Angular 2+ knowledge, including JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Working knowledge of Cosmos DB and Microsoft SQL Server SQL.
  • Experience using TFS and familiarity with UI and unit testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architecture.
  • Ability to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
  • Knowledge of code review practices, programming best practices, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of authentication and authorization, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience on at least one service-oriented architecture project and in Agile practices.

Desirable Experience

  • Performance tuning and optimization with Microsoft technologies is desirable.

Performance Management

KPIs are set during the first 30 days and may vary by project.

Performance management includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews, and annual reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
  • Participate in code reviews, including raising reviews, resolving comments, and closing reviews.
  • Troubleshoot application performance issues and optimize code and SQL queries.
  • Contribute to next-generation applications and Electronic Lab Notebook platforms for laboratory users.
