Sigma Specialized Inspection provides quality control, non-destructive testing, and heat-treatment services to oilfield, petrochemical, power-generation, shipbuilding, and other industries.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
- Perform UT weld scanning and interpret, evaluate, and report results.
- Review inspection results against applicable reference codes and standards.
- Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions.
- Document inspection results and prepare reports.
- Clean parts and materials before and after inspection.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the workplace and surrounding premises.
- Support organizational stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Experience and qualifications
- At least three years of work experience as an NDT Level 2 technician or approved equivalent.
- Oil and gas field corrosion survey experience is required.
- PCN certificate Level II UT 3.1/3.2 is mandatory.
- PCN certificate Level II UT 3.8/3.9 is preferred, not mandatory.
- Higher Secondary School educational qualification.
Specialized knowledge and skills
- English communication skills, written and verbal, are mandatory.
- Familiarity with NDT equipment and manual or computerized reporting.
