Responsibilities
- Guide regional growth and personally onboard cycling teams, corporate clubs, and retail partners.
- Lead and coach the sales team, manage quotas, and train technical pitching.
- Manage the sales lifecycle from lead generation and consultation to fit sessions, product selection, design briefs, and order specifications.
- Advise on garment selection, fabric technologies, chamois options, and fit profiles.
- Manage escalations, key accounts, client expectations, design options, and lead times.
- Verify order specifications before production hand-off.
- Use CRM data to report on lead sources, campaign ROI, and funnel performance.
- Keep company leadership informed about team results, accounts, bottlenecks, and market trends.
- Attend trade shows, races, and industry events to represent the brand and generate leads.
Candidate requirements
- 5–7 years of sales or account management experience; custom apparel, cycling, or premium sporting goods experience is ideal.
- Extensive knowledge of cycling, including racing categories, club structures, and technical garment requirements.
- Ability to lead a B2B sales team while managing a personal account pipeline.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Shopify, and Google Suite.
- Ability to travel within Australia for client meetings, fit sessions, and brand events.
- A relevant bachelor's degree, custom team-kit sales experience, an established cycling network, and rapid-growth team leadership are bonus qualifications.
