Kingston Education seeks a qualified, experienced Nail Technician Trainer / Coach / Lecturer to deliver practical and engaging training to students at different skill levels.
Job type and schedule
- Part-time, hourly role.
- Classes are scheduled on weekends and/or evenings; candidates must be available for evening and/or weekend classes.
Compensation

Key responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical nail technician training, using or developing structured course modules and lesson plans.
- Demonstrate professional nail techniques and procedures and provide hands-on guidance.
- Assess students' practical skills and progress; provide feedback and guidance.
- Maintain a supportive learning environment and ensure hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Keep current with nail trends, techniques, products, and industry standards.
- Prepare students for professional work and/or relevant assessments.
Requirements
- Relevant Nail Technology or Nail Technician certification and professional Nail Technician experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of manicure, pedicure, nail services, gel, acrylic, extensions, and nail art.
- Good communication and presentation skills; ability to work with students at different experience levels.
- Patient, responsible, professional approach; ability to create or use structured training modules.
- Previous teaching, coaching, or training experience is preferred.
- Relevant diploma, degree, or additional professional qualifications are an advantage.
- Professional portfolio or examples of previous nail work required.
