Deliver practical and engaging floristry courses for students and beginners.
The role is part-time and described as hourly, with classes in Qatar scheduled for weekends and/or evenings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theory-based floristry training and teach flower arranging and floral design techniques.
- Demonstrate bouquet making, centerpieces, floral decorations, and arrangements.
- Teach flower care, conditioning, handling, and storage; introduce students to flowers, foliage, tools, and materials.
- Prepare structured course modules and lesson plans, and conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on activities.
- Guide individual student projects and assignments, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, creative, and professional learning environment.
- Assist with workshops, events, and practical projects, and keep up with floral design trends and techniques.
Requirements
- Professional experience in floristry or floral design and strong practical knowledge of floral arrangements and design.
- A portfolio of floral arrangements or design work is required.
- Good communication and presentation skills; ability to work with beginners and students at different skill levels.
- Ability to prepare structured course modules and availability for evening and/or weekend classes.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Floristry, Floral Design, Horticulture, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous teaching, training, or workshop experience is preferred.
- A certified trainer or teaching qualification is an advantage.
Pay
- The posting describes the opportunity as hourly but lists pay as QAR 10 to QAR 15 per month.

- Work location is in person in Qatar.
