Working 36.5 hours per week Summary Are you an experienced adult safeguarding professional with the confidence to lead a team, support complex decisions and make a meaningful difference to the lives of adults experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect? Birmingham City Council is seeking a motivated Multi-Disciplinary Team Manager to lead within our Adult Safeguarding Service. Working with colleagues and partner agencies, you will support your team to navigate complexity, exercise sound professional judgement and maintain a clear focus on safety, rights and independence. You will combine supportive leadership with constructive challenge, using performance information, quality assurance and feedback to improve safeguarding practice and outcomes.

About the Role As a Multi-Disciplinary Team Manager within Adult Safeguarding, you will be accountable for the day-to-day management, quality and performance of your service area. • Financial and resource management: Manage budgets, staffing and workloads effectively, balancing competing priorities and available resources while maintaining oversight of safeguarding quality and risk. Contribute to financial monitoring and escalate capacity pressures that affect service delivery.
