  • The Sales Engineer for Molecular Contamination Control is responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration for advanced gas-phase filtration solutions across the assigned region Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role combines technical expertise with strategic selling to develop new business, expand key accounts, and position MCC solutions as the performance standard in mission-critical environments such as (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Mining, Pulp & Paper, Commercial Infrastructures, etc..)
  • Acting as both a technical consultant and the primary commercial interface, the role owns the full sales cycle all the way from opportunity identification and technical engagement through proposal development, validation, and contract closure. Through a consultative, solution-led approach, the Sales Engineer addresses complex contamination challenges, builds influential stakeholder relationships, and delivers sustainable, profitable growth for this high-value business segment.
  • **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
  • Direct experience with Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) control, gas-phase filtration, activated carbon systems, or chemisorption / physisorption technology.
  • Deep market knowledge of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Eastern, Northern, and Central Provinces with strong familiarity across Middle East industry dynamics, EPC project flows, and key end-user accounts.
  • Existing relationships with HVAC specifiers, principal engineers, facility managers, or EPC procurement leaders in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
  • Based in Dammam or willing to relocate; valid Saudi residency (Iqama) preferred. Willingness to travel extensively (≥60%) across the region.
  • Role priorities

1. Commercial Sales Execution & Growth

  • Own and exceed annual sales targets for the MCC portfolio across the assigned territory.
  • Manage the full technical sales cycle in complex, long-cycle B2B environments: prospect, qualify, develop proposals, and close high-value contracts across target verticals.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans, driving MCC adoption across customer facilities and EPC project pipelines with a focus on lifecycle value and long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain a disciplined, accurate pipeline in Salesforce CRM, qualifying leads promptly and submitting timely visit reports.

2. Technical Solution Design & Proposal Leadership

  • Conduct on-site assessments and application analyses to diagnose gas-phase and AMC contamination challenges across industrial and commercial environments.
  • Lead technical presentations and value-engineering sessions, translating complex filtration science into clear ROI and risk-mitigation outcomes for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact proposals fully aligned with customer specifications, ASHRAE/ISO standards, Camfil application guidelines, and internal governance requirements.

3. Market Development & Segment Growth

  • Execute targeted market development activities to grow MCC presence in new geographies, emerging industries, and untapped verticals across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Build a strong professional network through industry forums, technical associations, and events focused on clean air, process safety, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver structured Voice of Customer (VOC) and competitive intelligence to inform regional strategy, product positioning, and segment development.

4. Strategic Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with HVAC engineers, principal engineers, facility managers, and EPC procurement leaders.
  • Influence customer specifications and project design standards through technical advocacy and consultative engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal RDC, product, and applications teams to champion customer requirements and validate solution feasibility.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional project handover and proactive post-sale technical support.

Education

:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related technical field.

An advanced technical / business administration degree is a strong asset.

Experience

1. *Must-Haves*

: Minimum 5 yrs years in a technical sales or field applications engineering role within a relevant industry: gas phase filtration or advanced industrial filtration (Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Commercial Infrastructures etc..)

2. *Proven Track Record:*

Demonstrated success in managing complex, solution-based technical sales cycles and consistently meeting or exceeding commercial targets.

3. ***Ideal Profile:***

Direct experience with Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) control, gas-phase filtration, or adsorption technology.

Familiarity with Middle East market dynamics,

and deep market knowledge having insights of Saudi region

is highly advantageous.

4. ***Mobility:***

Willingness and ability to travel extensively (≈60%) within the region
