Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. A certificate from a diesel tech training program is preferred, or at least 10 years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck service in a shop setting.
• Licenses & Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance requirements. A Class A CDL with an air brake endorsement is a big plus. We’re also looking for HVAC certification and, ideally, certifications with Cummins IS Series, Allison Transmission, Caterpillar engines, Eaton, and Meritor.
• Technical Skills: Welding and fabrication skills are essential.
• Mindset & Approach: We need someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, commitment to quality work, and a dedication to outstanding customer service. Independent, resourceful workers with excellent time management skills will thrive here.
• Background & Screening: Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
