MLL Teacher Part-Time

The Franklin Township School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Teacher to join our educational team.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and promote academic excellence.

This role requires a commitment to developing engaging lesson plans and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of Multi Language Learning students.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
• Stay current with educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

• New Jersey Department of Education ESL Teaching Certification
• Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Proficiency in using technology as an educational tool is advantageous.
• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment

• Part-time, Contract

• Monday through Friday for 3.5 hours per day
• Salary Range $31,000 - $37,000
