Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for customer bids, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising artistic creativity
  • Control and interpret information flow between team members to distil complex concepts or technical information into simple, easy to understand visual materials
  • Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions and contribute to step-change customer-facing bid and proposal content that amplifies the Version 1 brand
  • Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of personal design deliverables, ensuring all work is consistent, on-brand and delivered to a high standard of visual excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Presentation designer, with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in design software such as Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Essential Criteria:
  • BA/BSc in a graphic design or a design related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong understanding of information design and the ability to translate complex technical content into visually engaging graphics.
  • Experience designing infographics, data visualisations and process diagrams.
  • Experience creating high-impact customer-facing presentations and proposal documents.
  • Be able to work under pressure and be adaptable
  • Be able to interpret a brief and make your own suggestions or improvements
  • Be very confident working with Microsoft Powerpoint and Word
  • Be very confident working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat
  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in using AI software and tools to enhance work, speed up workflow and add value
  • Video editing experience in either Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in creating animations or moving graphics.
