Next Engineering Consultant is seeking a Mid-Level Concept Design Architect in its Concept Design department.
The role supports concept architecture for projects including high-rise buildings and may lead small projects.
The role emphasizes high-quality design outputs, deadlines, and creative, technically sound solutions in a consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support conceptual architectural designs from the initial brief through early design stages.
- Plan, execute, and deliver small projects when required.
- Complete deliverables on time and in accordance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Use design software to create visual and technical outputs.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated design solutions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- Eight years of relevant experience within the UAE.
- Experience working on concept design stages.
- Arabic proficiency is mandatory; English proficiency is also specified.
Skills and competencies
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in 3D Max for 3D modeling and visualization; SketchUp, V-Ray, and Vantage are listed.
- AutoCAD is specified for 2D engineers.
- Strong deadline and workload management, attention to detail, presentation and communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
