Mid Level AI Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI applications using LLMs, foundation models, and generative AI frameworks.
• Develop and optimize RAG solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
• Create agents and workflows that interact with APIs, external tools, and business systems.
• Build scalable REST APIs, backend services, and cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.

Required qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional software or AI engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building applications with generative AI technologies, LLMs, and leading LLM providers or open-source models.
• Strong Python skills and experience building REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend applications.
• Practical RAG implementation experience using vector databases.
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and cloud platforms.

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and agent interoperability standards.
• Experience with LLM observability and evaluation platforms.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to React, TypeScript, modern web frameworks, or open-source AI projects.

• Location is Orlando, Florida; work arrangement is hybrid.
