MI Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Gather stakeholder reporting requests, clarify requirements, build reports and manage ongoing reporting developments.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems and dashboards in Qlik and Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, troubleshoot data issues, and perform validation and quality checks.
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and identify trends and patterns.
• Support the Data MI & Analysis Team's Data Strategy and maintain documentation for data processes and reporting standards.
• Train and support staff on reporting tools and techniques, and monitor report effectiveness.
• Assist with data management policies and work with the data warehouse developer to improve collection and storage.
• Stay current with reporting and analysis tools and participate in data governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data management, statistical analysis and business intelligence tools, particularly Qlik and Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely.
