Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance, refinery, petrochemical, mining, power generation, or heavy industrial environments preferred. Experience in pipe fabrication, vessel repair, welding, and structural steel work preferred. Education Level A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Required Skills Journeyman-level pipefitting, boilermaker, welding, or related industrial maintenance experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Knowledge of industrial piping systems, welding techniques, and fabrication practices. Knowledge of safe work practices in an industrial environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer skills. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility None Work Conditions Outdoors environment based. Petroleum refinery, plant environment, including not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, and tanks, rotating equipment, and working in confined spaces. Able to work in adverse weather conditions. Required to work a flexible schedule, (e.g. 12 shift schedules, overtime, weekends, callouts or holidays).
