Machinist/Mechanic Technician

Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of industrial machinist, pump mechanic, or rotating equipment maintenance experience preferred. Experience in refining, petrochemical, power generation, mining, pipeline, or heavy industrial settings preferred. Education Level High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Machinist Apprenticeship Program, Journeyman certification, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred. Certifications in automotive, heavy equipment repairs preferred.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and repair. Ability to operate machine shop equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation. Knowledge of precision measurement and alignment techniques. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computer-based maintenance systems. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility Work Conditions Outdoors environment based. Petroleum refinery, plant environment, including not limited to chemicals, elevated work areas, and tanks, rotating equipment, and working in confined spaces. Able to work in adverse weather conditions. Required to work a flexible schedule, (e.g. overtime, weekends, callouts or holidays).
