Overview
The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing merchandising operations across assigned outlets, ensuring product visibility, availability, and compliance with company standards.
The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing merchandising teams, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, also managing the service providers.
-Team Management
· Supervise, train, and motivate a team of merchandisers.
· Build journey plans with continuous monitoring and updates
· Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance KPIs.
· Conduct field visits and provide on-the-job coaching.
-In-Store Execution
- Ensure proper product placement according to planograms.
- Maintain shelf availability, correct pricing, and product rotation (FIFO).
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with sales/logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
-Sales & Performance Monitoring
- Track sales data and merchandising KPIs (e.g., shelf share, out-of-stock rate).
- Identify opportunities to increase product visibility and sales.
- Support promotional campaigns, displays, and product launches.
- **Retail Relationship Management**
- Build strong relationships with store managers and retail partners.
- Negotiate display space and promotional placements.
- Resolve in-store issues related to merchandising or stock.
-Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on merchandising activities.
- Use sales/merchandising software and handheld devices for reporting.
- Provide feedback to sales team and management on market trends and competitor activities.
- Share execution photos.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s\Diploma degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Experience
- 3–5 years in FMCG merchandizing preferably in Frozen Food
- Experience in Saudi retail chains (e.g., Panda, Danube, Carrefour) also Discounters and other Key Retailer is a must
