Overview
The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Retal s residential and commercial properties.
This includes managing on-site maintenance teams, coordinating with service vendors, inspecting facilities, and ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently and safely.
The role ensures the quality, safety, and functionality of facilities while supporting tenant satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site maintenance and technical staff (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, etc.).
- Monitor daily facility operations to ensure efficiency and safety standards are met.
- Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and follow up on service completion.
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of all repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request purchases when necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of operational reports and performance evaluations of facilities.
- Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Train and supervise junior technicians and support staff as required.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.)
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with facility management software and tools
- Knowledge of Saudi regulations for safety, civil defense, and facility operations
