MEP Quantity Surveyor

Role

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant UAE experience.
• Knowledge of quantity surveying for MEP-based projects.
• Ability to recognize contractual obligations of the company and its subcontractors.
• Ability to review and measure executed works.
• Good knowledge of detailed shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Able to act independently and proactively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantity based on tender drawings and specifications, covering all works.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.
• Coordinate review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components are included.
• Review projects, contract conditions and documents, specifications, and design drawings.
• Prepare tender queries for consultants and clients to confirm and collect missing data.
• Attend contractor technical meetings and weekly progress meetings when requested by the construction manager.
• Coordinate external and internal MEP services across disciplines and trades.
• Prepare cost estimates for MEP works.
