MEP Project Manager

Overview

sProject Management & Executio

• nManage end-to-end MEP execution for interior fit-out projects from mobilization to handover
• .Review interior design drawings and coordinate MEP services with joinery, ceiling, flooring, and partition works
• .Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower plans, and material procurement for MEP scope
• .Ensure MEP installations are aligned with fit-out sequencing (ceiling closures, joinery integration, final fix)

.Coordination & Stakeholder Managemen

• tCoordinate daily with interior designers, fit-out contractors, consultants, and client representatives
• .Liaise with building management and main developers for service connections, shutdowns, and approvals
• .Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and technical workshops
• .Technical & Qualit
• yReview and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• .Supervise testing & commissioning (T&C) of all MEP systems
• .Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), Dubai Municipality, and other UAE authority regulations
• .Manage snagging, de-snagging, and handover documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals)
• .Commercial & Reportin
• gControl project budgets, track variations, and support the QS team on claims and invoicing
• .Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and clients
• .Manage subcontractors' performance, payments certification, and contractual obligations
• .Team & Safet
• yLead MEP engineers, supervisors, foremen, and technicians on site
• .Enforce HSE standards and ensure safe work practices across all MEP activities
• .Candidate Criteri
• aEducatio
• nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• .PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage
• .Experienc
• e10–15 years total MEP experience, with
• minimum 5 years in interior fit-out project
• s (offices, hotels, F&B, retail, luxury residential)
• .Must have worked with an
• interior fit-out compan
• y or handled MEP for fit-out scopes under a main contractor
• .Proven track record of delivering fast-track fit-out projects in the UAE/GCC
• .Technical Knowledg
• eStrong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems in fit-out environments
• .Familiarity with UAE authority approvals: DEWA, DCD, DM, Trakhees, DDA (as applicable)
• .Proficient in AutoCAD review, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office
• .
