A Dubai-based MEP contracting company seeks a Procurement Engineer for project materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
The role combines engineering knowledge with purchasing and supply-chain management to secure suitable items on time, within budget, and to specification.
Responsibilities
- Procure project materials and equipment.
- Manage vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct technical evaluations.
- Conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate.
- Manage purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project teams.
- Expedite orders and monitor deliveries.
- Support quality assurance and compliance.
- Handle procurement documentation and reporting.
Qualifications and experience
- Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer background.
- Two years of MEP Procurement Engineer experience is required.
- Two years of experience in an MEP contracting company is required.
- Two years of UAE experience is preferred.
- A Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer degree is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 6,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person; the listing asks whether the candidate is willing to be assigned at a project site.
