We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Engineer with over 15 years of professional experience to provide expert guidance, technical oversight, and problem-solving support for a major development project in Riyadh.
The role includes conducting high-level design reviews, performing technical analysis, and supporting the design and engineering teams across all MEP disciplines, with a particular focus on electrical systems.
This senior-level role requires deep technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex design challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on MEP systems, with a strong focus on electrical design, integration, and compliance.
- Conduct high-level design reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
- Perform detailed technical analysis to support design decisions and resolve engineering challenges.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and efficient design solutions.
- Review and validate MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations, particularly for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Support the development of MEP design strategies, value engineering, and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong background in electrical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering; Master’s degree or chartered status preferred.
- Proven experience in high-level design review and technical problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MEP design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, HAP).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Saudi building codes, SEC standards, and regional engineering regulations.
