Construction Group is a leading international construction company with extensive experience in civil, industrial, infrastructure, and power plant projects.
We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team for our Taweelah Power Plant project in Abu Dhabi.
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on site to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at the project site.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, and other project teams.
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
- Monitor subcontractors' work and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum
- 5 years of experience
- as an MEP Engineer in construction projects.
- Experience in
- industrial projects, power plants, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and installation standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
